2D and 3D Graphics and Animations
Graphics and animations play an integral part to online, flexible and interactive learning environments. Grapics and animations should engage, explain or offer the learner the opportunity to increase his/her understanding of the learning outcomes. Launchpad specialises in using animations in interactive learning environments requiring the learner to control the animation as part of a more detailed learning experience.

Animations in Training
In First Aid For All, a US Lay Rescuer training package, 3D animations form an integral part of the learning. Here the learner must mimick real world responses, actions and treatments by controlling animations with structured learning activities to demonstrate knowledge and competence.

Animation for explanations
Sometimes seeing is believing. As these amino acids join to make a peptide bond, it is easy to see how the water molecule is released as part of the bond formation. Animations are an ideal mechanism of 2D and 3D modelling.
3D Virtual Environments
With the advent of the modern PC, it is now possible to construct virtual 3D environments. Very familiar to the younger Nintedo/Play station generation, these challenging environments offer us, as educators, unparalled opportunities to engage and teach.
